Project Details

To accompany the complete replacement of the bridge’s superstructure, repairs to the structure’s concrete piers were necessary to address significant deterioration. Unsound concrete was carefully chipped away until a viable core was reached to anchor new reinforcement and support intricate formwork. New concrete was then pumped behind the anchored formwork to restore the structural integrity of each foundational component.

Performing these specialty concrete repairs effectively extends the service life of the structure without the expense and prolonged disruption to traffic that accompanies new construction.
